Step 4 Find out what Medium Means The 7-ply construction heats more quickly and evenly than typical cookware. For this reason it is important to learn how you stove heats. Each stove heats differently. To locate medium. Add one inch of water to one of your saucepans. Set the stove's heat setting to what you expect medium heat to be. The water should begin to boil in approximately 10 minutes. If the water takes longer or shorter than 10 minutes to boil try adjust accordingly.

Step 5 Start Cooking. Select a simple recipe to start. Remember when cooking high prtein foods use medium and medium low heats. For searing and browning use higher heats. Oil & butter will carbonize more quickly in O2T cookware due to how quickly and evenly the pans heats. Enjoy a remarkable cookware system that brings professional quality to your home.

The ThriveShield Coating needs to be "seasoned" Before first use. Use, peanut, vegetable or canola oil. Apply a small amount in a clean cold pan. Using your fingers spread oil over surface. Heat on medium to medium high heat until oil smokes. This make take several minutes. Allow pan to cool completely and then clean thoroughly. Your pan is ready to use. You may need to re-season your pan as non-stick properties diminish. Never use metal utensils or cut inside a pan coated with ThriveShield. We recommend plastic, or wooden utensil.
